Quirky Experiential Adventure Agency Teams up with Legendary Wax Museum to Breathe a Little Life into Corporate Team-Building this Winter

Manhattan born-and-bred business City Hunt recently announced its partnership with Madame Tussauds New York to create an exhilarating, new scavenger hunt.

As the days get shorter, the air gets colder and everybody heads indoors for the long winter, employee morale, unfortunately, sinks to the lowest of the lows. City Hunt hopes to cure those wintry blues and get people moving again. Known for its entertaining yet challenging scavenger hunts, City Hunt has joined forces with the famous wax museum, Madame Tussaud’s, located in the heart of New York, Times Square, to offer clients a new, all-indoors adventure among two-hundred of the biggest names in film, sports, history, music, politics and pop culture. The combination should prove to deliver an abundantly fun experience. CEO of City Hunt Ben Hoffman is thrilled about the affiliation, stating “Madame Tussauds creates such a unique experience and we are very excited about integrating everything the museum has to offer into an experiential adventure.”

Since opening its doors in 1835, Madame Tussauds has become one of the most beloved tourist attractions of London. What began as a small exhibition of wax figures on Baker Street in London has extended globally, with branches in Las Vegas, Amsterdam, Shanghai, Hong Kong and opening in Washington DC in the fall of 20007. Madame Tussauds has changed dramatically over the past two centuries. Nowadays, many of the attractions feature interactive experiences aside their skillfully-crafted, life-like celebrities. With five floors of illustrious personalities, visitors of Madame Tussauds New York get the chance to audition for American Idol in front of snarly judge Simon Cowell, brave the Chamber of Horrors Live! that is shockingly real, or practice their dance moves with Beyoncé and Usher.

City Hunt business partners Ben Hoffman and Jaymes Dec are patiently waiting for the day their wax figures appear in the attraction. Founded six years ago, their company has designed and implemented scavenger hunts for over 50,000 clients, from some of the most prestigious corporations worldwide. Groups are split up into smaller teams and provided with digital cameras as they solve clues, puzzles and challenges together. While cooperation, communication and building team-morale are often the primary goals of these scavenger hunts, City Hunt pushes the fun factor. What is the beauty of City Hunt’s service? Ben boasts “It’s guaranteed fun or it’s free–something none of our competitors can really say.”
